Modeling of the Packet Error Rate (PER) by including conditions of Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) for transmissions Ad-Hoc.
Formulate a new equation for calculating the PER for wireless networks in ad-hoc scenarios by including aspects of the PAPR
a. Analyze through simulations the transmission and reception aspects in the PHY level of IEEE 802.11 that allow Ad-Hoc configurations and use the OFDM transmission technique.
b. Compare the performance of OPS-SAP technique for the reduction of PAPR in different ad-hoc scenarios (IEEE 802.11a/g/p).
c. Review the literature existing about calculating the PER.
d. Formulate a new equation for calculating the PER including aspects of the PAPR.
e. Compare results with and without the new formulation by the PER.
f. Improve the level of realism of the PHY layer of a network simulator using the obtained equation in (d).
